Yeah, that kind of financial stuff, you have to look up these types of things yourself. Mainly .gov sites just to make sure your actions are law abiding. Honestly, I strongly believe you don’t need to have someone from the states to be your “finance mule” (jokingly speaking, of course), but I could be wrong.

Fortunately, I just found the site that might help you out! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/business.html

Edit: Ack, I’m a dope! I kept overlooking “naturalization”. Of course, finishing up your citizenship should be your prime directive before you’re planning to make business here: temporary or otherwise.

Yeah, I'm not doing anything irregular about my paperwork, I'm just not finished with the process. I have the feeling people thought I was in Spain, or that I was trying to cheat out the process through getting a 'job' at an artist alley. I don't think that's even possible! I mean, if it was possible, it would be a reason NOT to do it.

But nah, I just want to have fun selling weeby keychain stuff at a con and I wanted to know if I there was a way for me to be allowed to sell weeby keychain stuff at a con.

In no way I assumed you were planning to do anything underhanded and neither should anyone else. And the argument that the post devolved into was directed more towards one of the responders of that post rather than you directly!

The thing is, even us American citizens have to do tedious paperwork just to START selling our wares. Trying to weasel out of it could have the state give you a hefty fine at best. ALSO, it depends on the state too since they each have their own laws regarding business: and Delaware is apparently the most business friendly of them all. So even if you were American born and you came from a family of Americans, you still have to go through absurd paperwork just to sell your keychains in the streets let alone in a convention.

I love how there is 2 normal comments and then someone comes out of the woodwork screaming. It brought this situation to mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5tlh-7t6Z0
